Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to shop False Vintage. The Site is designed to aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we do
- Every product photo has written alt text describing the item, and the key facts (size, measurements, price, condition) are in text, not only in images.
- The Site can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
- Animations (the hands, crumple and pipe effects, the scrolling ticker) are decorative. If your device has "reduce motion" turned on, they are reduced or switched off and the Site works the same.
- Pop-ups can be closed with the keyboard and screen readers announce them.
- Text has sufficient colour contrast against the background.
Known limitations
Some decorative hand-drawn lettering may be harder to read; the same information is always available in plain text nearby. Any issues found in our pre-launch accessibility audit will be listed here with the date we expect to fix them.
